Is the Buyer Visibility Package required?
No. The package is optional. Artists may keep their IndieMe web service without purchasing additional advertising or event visibility.
Is web service included in the package price?
No. IndieMe web service is required and billed separately. Monthly web service is $59 per month and Yearly web service is $548 per year.
What if I am already grandfathered into quarterly web-service billing?
Your existing quarterly billing schedule remains in place. Quarterly billing is not a new option for other artists.
What is the difference between the five packages?
The only difference is the Buyer’s Guide ad size. Every package includes the same two Guides, two Virtual Expo booths, two Gather events, four Featured Item Ads, and two 90-day Premiere Ads.
Are Canadian IndieMe artists eligible?
Yes. Active approved IndieMe artists in both the United States and Canada may purchase a package.
Do I need to register separately for the Virtual Expos and Gather events?
No. Package purchase includes participation in the January and August Virtual Expos and the Spring and Fall Gather events. IndieMe will contact you for materials before each event.
How do the two payments work?
The first half is due when you purchase the package. The second equal payment is due December 1, 2026. Both payments appear on the original invoice.
Does the package renew automatically?
No. The 2027 Buyer Visibility Package does not automatically renew.
Who chooses the Featured Item and Premiere Ad dates?
You do. Please order all four Featured Item Ads and both Premiere Ads through the IndieMe website within 14 days of purchasing your package. You choose and manage the dates.
Can my Featured Item or Premiere Ads run after 2027?
Yes. The included ads must be ordered by December 31, 2027, but ads already scheduled may run afterward. Unordered ads expire after that date.
What happens if I skip an event or miss a materials deadline?
Unused Guide and event benefits expire with that issue or event. They are not automatically transferred, substituted, credited, refunded, or carried into another package year.
Can I change my Buyer’s Guide ad size?
Contact IndieMe if you wish to upgrade. Upgrades are subject to production timing and require payment of the applicable difference. Downgrades are not offered.
Are package payments refundable?
Package payments are nonrefundable. Unusual circumstances may be reviewed individually, but staff cannot promise an exception.
What happens if my IndieMe web service lapses?
You will have 14 calendar days to restore your web service before remaining package benefits are canceled. If you return later, only benefits that are still available and have not expired may resume.
Can I still purchase one Buyer’s Guide ad instead?
Yes. Individual Spring or Fall Buyer’s Guide ads remain available until each issue’s order deadline. An individual Guide ad includes its corresponding Virtual Expo booth, but it does not include the other Buyer Visibility Package benefits.
Does advertising guarantee orders?
No. IndieMe advertising creates additional opportunities for buyers to discover your work, but it does not guarantee orders.
