IndieMe staff will be available to introduce you to the artists, answer questions, and help you continue your wholesale discovery online.

This collaboration grew from a shared belief that artists, buyers, marketplaces, shows, and industry organizations can create more opportunities for handcrafted when we work together.

How This Collaboration Began

Building More Opportunities for Handcrafted

Over the past year, IndieMe owner Jackie Adamany has shared a series of letters with the handcrafted industry. Those letters came from a very real belief that artists, buyers, marketplaces, shows, and industry organizations are stronger when we find meaningful ways to work together.

Those messages resonated with the American Craft Council and opened the door to new conversations. Together, IndieMe and ACC are creating The IndieMe Experience at American Craft Made Baltimore, bringing a dedicated wholesale discovery and ordering experience into the event.

The goal is simple: help handcrafted artists gain meaningful visibility while giving buyers another thoughtful, efficient way to discover work, build relationships, and place wholesale orders.

The IndieMe Experience is designed to help buyers discover participating artists, explore their wholesale collections, and place orders during the show.

Tablets and laptops will be available in the booth so buyers can view participating artists’ IndieMe profiles, browse complete collections, and place wholesale orders directly with the artists. IndieMe staff will be on hand to answer questions, help buyers navigate the marketplace, and make the ordering process as easy as possible.

Buyers may also save artist information and continue ordering through IndieMe after the show.

What is the IndieMe Experience?

The IndieMe Experience is a curated presentation of products and artists from the IndieMe handcrafted wholesale marketplace. It gives buyers attending American Craft Made Baltimore a focused place to discover IndieMe artists and learn how to continue sourcing from them online.

Who should visit the IndieMe Experience?

The experience is intended for independent retailers, museum and gallery shops, gift stores, design professionals, and other qualified buyers interested in handcrafted products and wholesale artist relationships.

Will the participating artists be at the booth?

The products will be represented by IndieMe, and IndieMe staff will manage the experience. Some participating artists may attend the broader show, but artists are not required to be present in the IndieMe space.

Can I place wholesale orders at the booth?

Yes. Buyers will be able to place wholesale orders with participating artists directly from the IndieMe booth. Tablets and laptops will be available to browse artist profiles, view complete collections, and submit orders through IndieMe, with staff available to assist throughout the process.

Do I need an IndieMe buyer account?

You do not need an existing IndieMe account to visit the experience. Qualified retailers may register for a complimentary buyer account to access complete wholesale collections and ordering information.

Is there a cost to join IndieMe as a buyer?

No. IndieMe buyer registration is complimentary for qualified retail businesses.

What types of products will be represented?

The final product mix will be announced as the event approaches. The experience is being curated to represent a thoughtful cross-section of eligible handcrafted categories, styles, and artist stories.

How can I find the IndieMe booth?
