artists and buyers communicate about wholesale business
- Provide

account, service, event, and marketplace communications

artists, products, events, publications, and IndieMe services

advertising, publications, Buyer’s Guides, events, and promotional

website performance, search tools, and user experience

the security, integrity, and proper use of IndieMe

IndieMe’s Terms of Use and marketplace policies

3. Marketplace Visibility
Certain information may be visible to other approved IndieMe
users as part of normal marketplace activity.
Artist storefronts, product listings, images, descriptions,
business names, and other submitted marketplace content may be visible to
approved buyers and may also be used by IndieMe in marketing, publications,
emails, social media, events, and promotional materials.
Buyer information may be shared with artists as needed to
support wholesale orders, inquiries, payment, shipping, fulfillment, and
buyer-artist communication.
Users should not submit information to IndieMe that they do
not want used in connection with marketplace activity or related IndieMe
services.
4. How We Share Information
IndieMe does not sell, rent, or trade personal information
to outside companies for their independent marketing use.
We may share information when necessary to operate IndieMe,
including with:
- Artists
and buyers involved in marketplace orders, inquiries, or communications
- Payment
processors and billing providers
- Email,
marketing, website, hosting, analytics, or customer support providers
- Event,
publication, advertising, or promotional service providers
- Legal,
accounting, tax, or business advisors
- Government,
law enforcement, or regulatory authorities when required by law

When we use third-party service providers, they may access
information only as needed to provide services to IndieMe.
5. Buyer and Artist Information
IndieMe protects buyer and artist relationships as part of
the marketplace.
Users may not scrape, copy, export, sell, rent, share, or
misuse buyer or artist information obtained through IndieMe. Users may not use
IndieMe buyer information, buyer relationships, marketplace communications,
event exposure, publication exposure, or platform tools to redirect buyers to
competing wholesale marketplaces or solicit buyers away from IndieMe.
Use of IndieMe is also governed by our Terms of Use.
6. Email and Communications
IndieMe may send emails related to account activity, orders,
services, events, publications, promotional opportunities, marketplace updates,
buyer sourcing, artist visibility, and other IndieMe communications.
Users may unsubscribe from certain marketing emails by
following the instructions in the email. Some service-related or
account-related communications may still be necessary to operate your account
or provide requested services.
7. Cookies and Website Technology
IndieMe uses cookies and similar technologies to support
site functionality, security, login sessions, user preferences, and website
performance.
Cookies help us recognize users within password-protected
areas, personalize the experience, maintain account security, and understand
how the website is used.
